ENGLAND, Aug. 16, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 2: After their 1-1 draw against Cardiff City on August 8, Rovers bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Blackpool this Saturday.
Gestede scored dual goals
Blackburn Rovers dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French forward Gestede in the 26th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Rovers further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Gestede in the 47th minute.
