WALES, Aug. 16, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 2: After their 1-1 draw against Blackburn Rovers on August 8, Cardiff City bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Huddersfield Town this Saturday.

Kenwyne Jones scored dual goals

Cardiff City dominated the first half thanks to goals from Whittingham ('28) and Jones ('35). Leading 2-1 at the break, Cardiff City players further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Jones in the 56th minute.

Cardiff City climbed to third place with 4 points from 2 games, 2 points behind Millwall FC.
