Championship (Week 7) : Leeds United defeats Bournemouth 3-1

ENGLAND, Sep. 16, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 7: After their 1-1 draw against Birmingham City on September 13, the Whites bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Bournemouth this Tuesday.

Bournemouth had started off well by taking the lead in the 6th minute with a goal by South African midfielder Andrew Surman. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Whites nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Doukara '67, Bellusci '82 and Antenucci '89).

Leeds United FC climbed to 13rd place with 10 points from 7 games, tie on points with Reading FC, which has a game in hand.
