Championship (Week 7) : Derby County beats Blackburn 3-2

ENGLAND, Sep. 17, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 7: After their 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town on September 14 and 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest on September 14, the Rams bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Blackburn Rovers this Wednesday.

Jamie Ward scored dual goals

Blackburn Rovers opened the score in the score in the 1st minute thanks to Marshall, before Derby County regained the advantage with Ward ('9) and Hughes ('37). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Rams further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Ward in the 58th minute.

Derby County FC climbed to 7th place with 12 points from 7 games, only one point behind Reading FC.
