Championship (Week 12) : Watford beats Sheffield Wednesday 3-0

ENGLAND, Oct. 18, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 12: After their 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion on October 4, the Hornets returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday this Saturday.

Watford dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ighalo ('21) and Abdi ('38). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Hornets further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Vydra in the 69th minute.

Watford FC climbed to first place with 24 points from 12 games, one point ahead of runner-up Derby County FC.
