Championship (Week 14) : Wolverhampton Wanderers defeats Leeds United 2-1
ENGLAND, Oct. 25, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 14: Two wins in a row for Wolverhampton Wanderers. After their 2-0 win against Middlesbrough on October 21, the Wolves continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Leeds United this Saturday.
Leeds United had started off well by taking the lead in the 18th minute with a goal by Italian forward Mirco Antenucci. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Wolves nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Henry '66 and Clarke '85).
Wolverhampton Wanderers FC climbed to third place with 26 points from 14 games, tie on points with Watford FC.
