Championship (Week 14) : Wigan Athletic beats Derby County 2-1

ENGLAND, Oct. 25, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 14: After two straigth victories against Reading and Blackpool, the Rams lost 2-1 against Wigan Athletic.

James McClean scored dual goals

Derby County had started off well by taking the lead in the 45th minute with a goal by midfielder John Eustace. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Latics nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (McClean '69, '83).

Derby County FC remains in first place with 26 points from 14 games, tie on points with runner-up Watford FC.
