ENGLAND, Aug. 30, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 5: Two wins in a row for Wigan Athletic. After their 1-0 win against Blackpool on August 23, the Latics continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 4-0 victory over Birmingham City this Saturday.

Callum McManaman scored dual goals

Wigan Athletic dominated the first half thanks to goals from McManaman ('9, '45) and Taylor ('39). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Latics further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Waghorn in the 78th minute.

Wigan Athletic FC climbed to 12nd place with 7 points from 5 games, tie on points with AFC Bournemouth.
