Championship (Week 5) : Millwall beats Blackpool 2-1
ENGLAND, Aug. 30, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 5: After losing 0-1 to Rotherham United on August 23, the Lions returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Blackpool this Saturday.
Millwall dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Australian forward Scott McDonald in the 33rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Lions further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Malone in the 51st minute.
Millwall FC climbed to fifth place with 10 points from 5 games, tie on points with Norwich City.
