Championship (Week 15) : Wigan Athletic hold Fulham to 3-3
ENGLAND, Nov. 1, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 15: The match between Wigan Athletic and Fulham ended in a 3-3 draw on Saturday.
Fulham players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Christensen ('30) and Ruiz ('36) while Wigan Athletic only scored once Forshaw ('9 on penalty). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, and despite Ruiz goal on penalty ('88) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Wigan Athletic with goals by Roger Espinoza ('54) and Shaun Maloney ('82).
Wigan Athletic FC climbed to 18th place with 16 points from 15 games, only one point behind Rotherham United FC.
