ENGLAND, Nov. 1, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 15: The match between Charlton Athletic and Sheffield Wednesday ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Sheffield Wednesday players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Dutch midfielder Royston Drenthe in the 27th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Charlton Athletic with a saving goal from Angolan forward Igor Vetokele in the 70th minute.
Charlton Athletic FC remains in 9th place with 23 points from 15 games, one point behind Ipswich Town FC.
