Championship (Week 17) : Derby County defeats Wolverhampton Wanderers 5-0

ENGLAND, Nov. 8, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 17: Two wins in a row for Derby County. After their 3-2 win against Huddersfield Town on November 4, the Rams continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 5-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers this Saturday.

Johnny Russell scored dual goals

Derby County dominated the first half thanks to goals from Shotton ('16), Hendrick ('28) and Russell ('42). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Rams further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Henry '55 and Russell '61).

Derby County FC climbed to first place with 32 points from 17 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up AFC Bournemouth, which has a game in hand.
