Championship (Week 17) : Brighton draw 1-1 with Blackburn

ENGLAND, Nov. 8, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 17: The match between Brighton & Hove Albion and Blackburn Rovers ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.

Brighton & Hove Albion players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Gary Gardner in the 42nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Blackburn Rovers with a saving goal from French forward Gestede in the 51st minute.

Blackburn Rovers FC climbed to 7th place with 27 points from 17 games, only one point behind Brentford FC.
