ENGLAND, Aug. 19, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 3: After losing 0-1 to Sheffield Wednesday on August 16 and 1-0 to Birmingham City on August 16, the Seagulls returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Leeds United this Tuesday.
Brighton & Hove Albion dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Portuguese midfielder Teixeira in the 5th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Seagulls further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by LuaLua with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Brighton and Hove Albion FC climbed to 16th place with 3 points from 3 games, tie on points with Middlesbrough FC, which has a game in hand.
