Championship (Week 20) : Ipswich defeats Leeds United 4-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 6, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 20: Two wins in a row for Ipswich Town. After their 0-1 win against Charlton Athletic on November 29, the Tractor Boys continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 4-1 victory over Leeds United this Saturday.
Daryl Murphy scored dual goals
Leeds United opened the score in the score in the 4th minute thanks to Mirco Antenucci, before Ipswich Town regained the advantage with Murphy ('12, '45) and McGoldrick ('26 on penalty). Leading 3-1 at the break, the Tractor Boys further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Smith in the 48th minute.
Ipswich Town FC remains in second place with 37 points from 20 games, one point behind Derby County FC.
