Championship (Week 20) : Sheffield Wednesday defeats Blackburn 2-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 6, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 20: Two wins in a row for Sheffield Wednesday. After their 2-1 win against Wigan Athletic on November 29, the Owls continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers this Saturday.
Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Kieran Lee opened the score in the 3rd minute, before seeing Blackburn Rovers catch up in the 16th minute thanks to Baptiste. 1-1 at half time. The Owls eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Dielna in stoppage time.
Blackburn Rovers FC are down in 7th place with 31 points from 20 games, one point behind Watford FC.
