ENGLAND, Jan. 20, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 27: Two wins in a row for Middlesbrough. After their 2-0 win against Huddersfield Town on January 17, the Smoggies continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Cardiff City this Tuesday.
45 minutes of play and neither Middlesbrough nor Cardiff City have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Bamford ('63) and Tomlin ('79).
Middlesbrough FC climbed to second place with 50 points from 27 games, only one point behind AFC Bournemouth.
