Championship (Week 27) : Watford beats Blackpool 7-2
ENGLAND, Jan. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 27: Two wins in a row for Watford. After their 5-0 win against Charlton Athletic on January 17, the Hornets continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 7-2 victory over Blackpool this Saturday.
Odion Ighalo served up another goal feast
Blackpool had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Orlandi ('8) and Davies ('42). Trailing 2-0 at half time, the Hornets nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring many times in the second period (Ighalo '47, '54, '73, '81, Deeney '53, Vydra '59 and Angella '66).
Watford FC remains in 6th place with 47 points from 27 games, one point behind Derby County FC, which has a game in hand.
