Championship (Week 28) : Bournemouth beats Watford 2-0
ENGLAND, Jan. 30, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 28: After losing 1-0 to Leeds United on January 20, the Cherries returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Watford this Friday.
Bournemouth dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French forward Yann Kermorgant in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Cherries further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ritchie in the 57th minute.
AFC Bournemouth remains in first place with 54 points from 28 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Derby County FC, which has a game in hand.
