Championship (Week 29) : Boro beats Charlton Athletic 3-1
ENGLAND, Feb. 7, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 29: Four wins in a row for Middlesbrough. After their success against Huddersfield Town, Cardiff City and Brentford, the Smoggies continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-1 victory over Charlton Athletic this Saturday.
Middlesbrough forward Patrick Bamford opened the score in the 6th minute, before seeing Charlton Athletic catch up in the 37th minute thanks to Gudmundsson. 1-1 at half time. The Smoggies eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Vossen ('48) and Tomlin ('88).
Middlesbrough FC remains in third place with 56 points from 29 games, one point behind Derby County FC.
