ENGLAND, Feb. 10, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 30: Five wins in a row for Middlesbrough. After their success against Huddersfield Town, Cardiff City, Brentford and Charlton Athletic, the Smoggies continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Blackpool this Tuesday.
Blackpool made Middlesbrough doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Woodgate ('81) and Garcia Martinez ('88).
Middlesbrough FC climbed to first place with 59 points from 30 games, one point ahead of runner-up AFC Bournemouth.
