Championship (Week 31) : Birmingham City and Boro play out 1-1 draw
ENGLAND, Feb. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 31: Middlesbrough was held to a 1-1 draw by Birmingham City on Wednesday.
Birmingham City players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Scottish defender Paul Caddis on penalty in the 45th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Middlesbrough with a saving goal from Middlesbrough forward Patrick Bamford in the 74th minute.
Middlesbrough FC remains in first place with 60 points from 31 games, one point ahead of runner-up AFC Bournemouth.
