Championship (Week 36) : Bournemouth beats Fulham 5-1

ENGLAND, Mar. 6, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 36: Two wins in a row for Bournemouth. After their 2-1 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers on March 3, the Cherries continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 5-1 victory over Fulham this Friday.

Brett Pitman and Matt Ritchie scored dual goals

Bournemouth dominated the first half thanks to goals from Pitman ('29) and Ritchie ('37). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Cherries further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Pitman '61, Ritchie '71 and Cook '84).

AFC Bournemouth climbed to first place with 66 points from 36 games, tie on points with runner-up Middlesbrough FC, which has a game in hand.
