ENGLAND, Mar. 7, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 36: Two wins in a row for Leeds United. After their 2-1 win against Ipswich Town on March 4, the Whites continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 1-0 victory over Wigan Athletic this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Leeds United midfielder Alex Mowatt in the 51st minute.
Leeds United FC climbed to 13rd place with 47 points from 36 games, only one point behind Charlton Athletic FC.
