ENGLAND, Mar. 14, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 37: After losing 2-1 to Nottingham Forest on March 7, the Smoggies bounced back with a 4-1 victory over Ipswich Town this Saturday.
Patrick Bamford scored dual goals
Middlesbrough dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ayala ('4) and Adomah ('30). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Smoggies further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Bamford '64, '79).
Middlesbrough FC climbed to first place with 69 points from 37 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up AFC Bournemouth, which has a game in hand.
