Championship (Week 6) : Burnley beats Sheffield Wednesday 3-1

ENGLAND, Sep. 12, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 6: Three wins in a row for Burnley. After their success against Brentford and Bristol City, Burnley continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday this Saturday.

Burnley midfielder David Jones opened the score in the 7th minute, before seeing Sheffield Wednesday catch up in the 20th minute thanks to Atdhe Nuhiu. 1-1 at half time. Burnley eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Taylor ('78) and Gray ('90).

Burnley climbed to fifth place with 11 points from 6 games, tie on points with Birmingham City FC, which has a game in hand.
