Championship (Week 8) : Rotherham defeats Cardiff City 2-1

ENGLAND, Sep. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 8: After losing 2-1 to Brighton & Hove Albion on September 15, the Millers bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Cardiff City this Saturday.

Rotherham United midfielder Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe opened the score in the 43rd minute on penalty, before seeing Cardiff City catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Peter Whittingham penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Millers eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Connolly into his own net in stoppage time.

Cardiff City are down in 8th place with 12 points from 8 games, tie on points with Birmingham City FC, which has a game in hand.
