Championship (Week 13) : Bolton Wanderers and Leeds United play out 1-1 draw
ENGLAND, Oct. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 13: The match between Bolton Wanderers and Leeds United ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Bolton Wanderers players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Nigerian forward Shola Ameobi in the 32nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Leeds United with a saving goal from Italian forward Mirco Antenucci on penalty in the 71st minute.
Leeds United FC climbed to 17th place with 13 points from 13 games, only one point behind Nottingham Forest FC.
