WALES, Feb. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 32: After a 0-0 draw with Hull on February 16, the Seagulls lost 4-1 against Cardiff City.
Peter Whittingham scored dual goals
Cardiff City dominated the first half thanks to goals from Whittingham ('16), Pilkington ('19) and Immers Lex ('30). Leading 3-0 at the break, Cardiff City players further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Whittingham on penalty in the 66th minute.
Brighton and Hove Albion FC remains in third place with 57 points from 32 games, one point behind Middlesbrough FC, which has two games in hand.
