Championship (Week 33) : Preston beats Charlton Athletic 2-1
ENGLAND, Feb. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 33: Four wins in a row for Preston. After their success against Huddersfield Town, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sheffield Wednesday, the Lilywhites continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Charlton Athletic this Tuesday.
Garner Joe opened the score in the 35th minute, before seeing Charlton Athletic catch up in the 37th minute thanks to Gudmundsson Johann. 1-1 at half time. The Lilywhites eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Robinson Callum in the 52nd minute.
Preston North End FC climbed to 9th place with 48 points from 33 games, only one point behind Cardiff City.
