ENGLAND, May. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 45: Two wins in a row for Burnley. After their 0-1 win against Preston on April 22, Burnley continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 1-0 victory over QPR this Monday.
45 minutes of play and neither Burnley nor QPR have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Welsh forward Sam Vokes in the 61st minute.
Burnley remains in first place with 90 points from 45 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Middlesbrough FC.
