Championship (Week 26) : Burnley beats MK Dons 5-0
ENGLAND, Jan. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 26: After their 0-0 draw against Ipswich Town on January 2, Burnley returned to winning ways with a 5-0 victory over Milton Keynes Dons this Tuesday.
Burnley dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Joey Barton in the 14th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Burnley players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Vokes '46, Gray '64, Lowton '71 and Boyd '82).
Burnley climbed to fourth place with 45 points from 26 games, 2 points behind Hull City, which has a game in hand.
