ENGLAND, Jan. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 26: Five wins in a row for Middlesbrough. After their success against Burnley, Brighton & Hove Albion, Sheffield Wednesday and Derby County, the Smoggies continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 1-0 victory over Brentford this Tuesday.
Brentford made Middlesbrough doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Brentford goalkeeper David Button into his own net in the 61st minute.
Middlesbrough FC remains in first place with 55 points from 25 games, a 6-point lead over runner-up Derby County FC.
