Championship (Week 4) : Forest defeats Wigan Athletic 4-3
ENGLAND, Aug. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 4: After losing 3-0 to Brighton & Hove Albion on August 16 and 1-0 to Brentford on August 16, the Reds returned to winning ways with a 4-3 victory over Wigan Athletic this Saturday.
Oliver Burke scored dual goals
Nottingham Forest midfielder Britt Assombalonga opened the score in the 6th minute, before seeing Wigan Athletic catch up in the 11th minute thanks to Michael Jacobs. 1-1 at half time. The Reds eventually won the game in the second period with three more goals by Burke ('53, '78) and Lam Thomas ('90).
Nottingham Forest FC climbed to 11st place with 6 points from 4 games, tie on points with Bristol City FC.
