Championship (Week 11) : Brighton beats Sheffield Wednesday 2-1

ENGLAND, Oct. 1, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 11: After their 0-0 draw against Ipswich Town on September 27, the Seagulls bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday this Saturday.

Brighton & Hove Albion dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Sam Baldock in the 26th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Seagulls further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Knockaert in the 73rd minute.

Brighton and Hove Albion FC climbed to third place with 21 points from 11 games, only one point behind Newcastle United.
