Championship (Week 7) : Sheffield Wednesday beats Bristol City 3-2

ENGLAND, Sep. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Sheffield Wednesday. After their 2-1 win against Wigan Athletic on September 10, the Owls continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-2 victory over Bristol City this Tuesday.

Bristol City had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Abraham Tammy ('33, '39). Trailing 2-0 at half time, the Owls nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Fletcher '52, Bannan '75 and Lee '90).

Sheffield Wednesday FC climbed to 9th place with 11 points from 7 games, tie on points with Ipswich Town FC.
