Championship (Week 7) : Preston defeats Cardiff City 3-0

ENGLAND, Sep. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 7: After losing 1-0 to Ipswich Town on September 10 and 1-2 to Barnsley on September 10, the Lilywhites returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Cardiff City this Tuesday.

Preston dominated the first half thanks to goals from Clarke Tom ('36) and Robinson Callum ('41). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Lilywhites further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Hugill Jordan with just 2 minutes remaining in regulation time.

Preston North End FC climbed to 18th place with 6 points from 7 games, only one point behind Leeds United FC.
