Championship (Week 29) : Wigan Athletic draw 2-2 with Norwich City
ENGLAND, Feb. 7, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 29: The match between Wigan Athletic and Norwich City ended in a 2-2 draw on Tuesday.
Norwich City players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Portuguese forward Oliveira Nelson in the 40th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Dijks Mitchell goal ('73) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Wigan Athletic with dual goals from Bogle Omar ('62 and '68.
Norwich City climbed to 7th place with 47 points from 30 games, 2 points behind Sheffield Wednesday FC, which has a game in hand.
