Championship (Week 31) : Fulham beats Wigan Athletic 3-2
ENGLAND, Feb. 11, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 31: After losing 1-0 to Birmingham City on February 4, the Cottages returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Wigan Athletic this Saturday.
Wigan Athletic had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Malone ('32 own) and Jacobs ('45), while Fulham only scored once Ayité ('25). Trailing 2-1 at half time, the Cottages nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Odoi Denis '71 and Kebano Neeskens '90).
Fulham climbed to 9th place with 46 points from 30 games, only one point behind Derby County FC.
