Championship (Week 31) : Brighton beats Burton 4-1

ENGLAND, Feb. 11, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 31: After their 3-3 draw against Brentford on February 5, the Seagulls bounced back with a 4-1 victory over Burton Albion this Saturday.

Tomer Hemed scored dual goals

Brighton & Hove Albion dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Israelian forward Tomer Hemed in the 12th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Seagulls further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Baldock '47, Hemed '57/penalty and Murray '83).

Brighton and Hove Albion FC climbed to first place with 64 points from 30 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Newcastle United, which has a game in hand.
