Championship (Week 34) : Burton and Blackburn play out 1-1 draw
ENGLAND, Feb. 24, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 34: The match between Burton Albion and Blackburn Rovers ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday.
Blackburn Rovers players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Palmer Matt into his own net in the 31st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Burton Albion with a saving goal from Burton Albion forward Marvin Sordell in the 54th minute.
Burton Albion FC climbed to 19th place with 36 points from 34 games, tie on points with Nottingham Forest FC, which has a game in hand.
