ENGLAND, Aug. 26, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 5: After losing 1-0 to Sheffield United on August 19, the Tykes returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Sunderland this Saturday.
Barnsley dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ugbo Ike ('31) and Barnes Harvey ('35). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Tykes further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Moncur George in the 67th minute.
Barnsley FC climbed to 15th place with 6 points from 5 games, tie on points with Fulham.
