ENGLAND, Sep. 9, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 6: After their 0-0 draw against Preston on August 26, the Smoggies returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers this Saturday.
Britt Assombalonga scored dual goals
Middlesbrough dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Britt Assombalonga in the 13th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Smoggies further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Assombalonga '71 and Johnson Marvin '78).
Middlesbrough FC climbed to 6th place with 10 points from 6 games, 2 points behind Sheffield United FC.
