Championship (Week 12) : Sunderland draw 1-1 with QPR
ENGLAND, Oct. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 12: The match between Sunderland and QPR ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
QPR players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Sylla Idrissa in the 37th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Sunderland with a saving goal from Irish midfielder Mcgeady Aiden in the 61st minute.
Queens Park Rangers climbed to 14th place with 14 points from 12 games, only one point behind Nottingham Forest FC, which has a game in hand.
