ENGLAND, Sep. 30, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 11: Preston was held to a 2-2 draw by Sunderland on Saturday.
Sunderland players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Honeyman George in the 28th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Mcgeady Aiden goal ('59) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Preston with goals by Harrop Josh ('55) and Hugill Jordan ('57).
Preston North End FC are down in 6th place with 20 points from 11 games, tie on points with Bristol City FC.
