Championship (Week 10) : Preston defeats Hull 2-1
ENGLAND, Sep. 26, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 10: After their 0-0 draw against Millwall on September 23, the Lilywhites returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Hull this Tuesday.
Preston dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Tom Barkhuizen in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Lilywhites further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Robinson Adam with just 2 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Preston North End FC climbed to fourth place with 19 points from 10 games, only one point behind Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, which has a game in hand.
