ENGLAND, Sep. 12, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 7: After a 1-1 draw with Fulham on September 9, Cardiff City lost 3-0 against Preston.

Preston dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Harrop Josh in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Lilywhites further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Maguire Sean '70 and Browne Alan '78).

Cardiff City are down in second place with 16 points from 7 games, one point behind Leeds United FC.
