Championship (Week 7) : Sheffield Wednesday defeats Brentford 2-1
ENGLAND, Sep. 12, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Sheffield Wednesday. After their 3-1 win against Nottingham Forest on September 9, the Owls continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Brentford this Tuesday.
Brentford defender Nico Yennaris opened the score in the 9th minute, before seeing Sheffield Wednesday catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Gary Hooper. 1-1 at half time. The Owls eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Wallace in the 70th minute.
Sheffield Wednesday FC climbed to fifth place with 12 points from 7 games, tie on points with Preston North End FC.
