Championship (Week 14) : Sheffield United beats Leeds United 2-1

ENGLAND, Oct. 27, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 14: Three wins in a row for Sheffield United. After their success against Ipswich Town and Reading, the Blades continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Leeds United this Friday.

Sheffield United forward Billy Sharp opened the score in the 2nd minute, before seeing Leeds United catch up in the 34th minute thanks to Phillips Kalvin. 1-1 at half time. The Blades eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Brooks David with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.

Sheffield United FC climbed to first place with 30 points from 14 games, one point ahead of runner-up Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, which has a game in hand.
