AGADIR, Jan. 16, 2018 (AMP) — Kenya 2018 : Congo-Brazzaville defeated Cameroon by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a CHAN group stage game on Tuesday night at the Agadir Stadium.
Cameroon made the Congoleses doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Makiesse on penalty in the 72nd minute.
The result put the Congolese top of Group D with 3 points. In their next game, Congo-Brazzaville will meet second-placed Burkina Faso at the Agadir Stadium on January 20, while Cameroon will face Angola.
